Pust byNight – Runther Returns

The local legend Rune Aleksander Winther, aka Runther, returns for his first solo gig in Tromsø since pre-covid (!). Runther is a producer and DJ from Lofoten, Norway. His music-making philosophy is not only to paint fascinating sound palettes but also to take an unique approach to exploring the odd glitches and errors he stumbles across – which also explains his artist name; Runther was created accidentally when a friend mixed up his first and last name.

Runther has gathered praise playing at renowned festivals like Insomnia, Sommarøya and LightsOut festival alongside artists like Rökysopp, Biosphere, Omar S, ANNA, Nadia and DJ Koze. A master of the DJ-art, the ambitious artist is also a renowned producer in his own right, while also managing a label and organizing raves through the years.
